MUGGY
Feeling Muggy ยท Black-owned ยท Dallas, TX

Built different.
On purpose.

I built Feeling Muggy because I wanted a mug that actually said something. Not about my zodiac sign or my love of morning beverages โ€” about who I am and what I stand for. Turns out, a lot of people felt the same way.

The Civil Rights Mugshot Collection started with a simple creative instinct: what if you put the most iconic police lineup portraits in American history on the ceramic people reach for every morning? Malcolm X arrested for disrupting the status quo. MLK booked in Birmingham. Tupac standing in front of the height chart, unbothered. These images reframe the narrative โ€” the people who changed the world didn't wait for permission. They got arrested for it.

That collection went viral on TikTok. 567K views. Hundreds of comments. People who felt something seeing history reframed as a conversation piece. That response told me everything I needed to know โ€” objects carry meaning, and meaning starts conversations.

Your mug should
say something.

I'm Tino Noir โ€” Senior Global Instructional Designer by day, creative director and independent artist by everything else. I've worked on global lifestyle brands for over 15 years. I know what makes an object feel like a statement and what makes it feel like filler.

Feeling Muggy is my answer to filler. Every mug we make has an emotional job to do โ€” start a conversation, express an identity, give someone a gift that says you actually know them. We're Black-owned, Dallas-built, and made to order. When you buy from us, you're not just buying ceramic. You're buying a piece of something intentional.

Why the Mugshot

The people who changed the world
got arrested for it.

The police lineup height chart is one of the most loaded images in American history. It was designed to reduce people to suspects. We put it on a mug because the people it was used against turned out to be some of the most important figures in modern history. The mug reframes that. Every morning, you hold that reframe in your hands.

That's why people stop scrolling when they see it. That's why 567K views happened on one video. That's why the conversation keeps starting.
